I was visiting from Texas and everything here was delicious, I will definitely be returning. A lot of food and great prices. All the wait staff was super nice and everyone's plate was left clean. Wish we had one of theses back home. Everything was made from scratch.

Our place to stop in Petaluma when driving up 101. Our favorite meal is breakfast, and they serve it all day! Have settled in on "Jerome's Huevos Rancheros" as the go to favorite as it it a great combination of a very tasty breakfast steak, eggs, avocado, onion, salsa and cheese with hash browns (ask for them crispy). Very filling. Clean bathrooms and comfortable dining booths or counter chairs (this might have been an old Sambo's), plus a large backroom so there is always a place to sit no matter how busy. Very personable staff and a never ending coffee cup courtesy of Rojo.

After reading the reviews, that were negative, and felt compelled to share my experiences with this restaurant. It's family owned and the food is very good. I have high expectations as far as service and food quality goes! As you can see I gave them all 5 stars! They are such a great team ( family) and I have NEVER experienced anything less than great food and great service. All I could think of regarding the bad reviews was maybe they expected too much on a possibly low staffed or off day! I eat at this cafe at least 1-2 times monthly, for 8yrs now! If your looking for good food and great service then it's a must!

My first time here and wow! Was I impressed! We came for breakfast and it was egg-cellent! I had a Denver omelette and it was fluffy and yummy. Chock full of ham, bell Peppers and onions. The other person in my party had the chicken fried steak. No complaints from him! Better than we had hoped. The prices were reasonable for this area. Service was very friendly and competent. And surprisingly they used real butter on the toast!

I go to this restaurant a couple times a month. The owner is very cordial as are the rest of the staff there. I usually go for breakfast and I've never been disappointed. I'll be back soon!

I was in town on business and my battery died. Rather than wait at Brodie's to get a new battery, I decided to walk down to the cafe to get some lunch. The interior looks like nothing more than an old Denny's and honestly, I might have walked out if I wasn't stranded. I am happy to say, my first impression was wrong. I ordered iced tea and the Jalapeño burger with fries. The ice tea is fresh brewed and super yummy. I'm gonna regret having 4 glasses of tea before my 5 hour drive home. The jalapeño was served whole atop the burger, toreado-style and was nice and spicy. The fries were battered fries and also super yummy. The ranch dip for the fries was perfect. Last but not least, the service. The staff was attentive but that's not what caught my attention. It's clear this is a spot for the locals because the gal behind the counter seemed to know everyone's name and she was super sweet. I would definitely be a regular customer here if I didn't live 5 hours away. Thank you for a nice spot to wait out my repairs and for a super yummy lunch!

What a very good find for breakfast. Easy convenient location with plenty of parking. I had a stretch class to get my day going and needed food. Bingo! I ordered the corn beef hash special with coffee (always getting topped off). Very very good and incredibly reasonable prices. I paid $18 for breakfast with 2 eggs, toast and hash browns included. I'll be back. Very friendly staff too. Check them out!

Absolutely the BEST breakfast spot in petaluma. I got the steak & eggs and it was to die for! Perfect medium rare steak with a beautiful sear and Absolutely PERFECT sunny side up eggs. I've also had the eggs Bennie and huevos Ranchero's both were just as good if not better than the local Mexican restaurants
